One live list for RSVPs, attendance and payment status.
The problem
Still running your club from a spreadsheet?
Most badminton clubs run on a collection of tools that were never meant to work together. Member details sit in a spreadsheet. Session replies arrive in a group chat. Who has paid lives in a second spreadsheet — or in someone’s memory.
Group chat
Session replies and RSVPs arrive here, in a thread nobody can total up.
RSVPs only
Spreadsheet
Member details and who has paid live in a file on someone’s laptop.
Members and fees only
Paper list
Attendance is written down by hand at the door and filed nowhere.
Attendance only
Three tools, three fragments of the same club — and nothing keeps them in step.
None of those tools are broken on their own. The trouble is that they never quite agree. The chat says fourteen are coming, the sheet says twelve, and the person who collected the money is away this week.
Club management software puts members, sessions and attendance on the same record. One place to check, one place to update, and one place to look back on when the season ends.
That last part matters more than it sounds. At the end of a season you are left reconstructing who was a member, who actually attended, what came in and what went out — pulling a record together from places that were never designed to hold one.
Member management
Your members and club records in one place
Members are the record everything else hangs from. Courtex keeps member profiles and club roles together, so you are not rebuilding the same list every season.
You can see who is active and who is actually turning up, which makes it easier to notice when someone has gone quiet before they drift away entirely. Club roles can be assigned to delegate the running of the club to several people, which is exactly what you want when the usual organiser is on holiday.
New members can find and join through a public club page you can share, so registration stops being a task you chase over message. If your committee needs a quieter space, a club can be hidden from public view while still using every other part of Courtex.
Because the record belongs to the club rather than to one person’s file, handing over to a new committee does not mean rebuilding the membership list from scratch each time someone steps down.

Keep attendance and payment status with the session, ready for the next one.
Fees and budgeting
See what you have collected and what you still need to
Money around a club usually lives in a spreadsheet of its own. Courtex keeps payment status beside the session it belongs to, so the list of who has paid travels with the record of who actually turned up.
Budgeting works from your session fees and any expenses you log — hire costs, shuttlecocks, the rest. Revenue is calculated from attendance, so you get a profit and loss view per session without entering the same figures twice, and you can see which sessions are carrying the club.
Online payment collection is still in development. Today Courtex records payment status rather than taking money, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. If taking payments online matters to your club, tell us what you need — it is being built with organiser feedback.

Common questions
Badminton club management software — common questions
What is badminton club management software?
Badminton club management software is a single place to run the moving parts of a club — members, sessions, attendance and money — instead of keeping them in separate spreadsheets and group chats. Courtex is built specifically for badminton.
What can I manage with Courtex?
Member profiles and club roles, sessions and socials, RSVPs and waitlists, attendance, and budgeting. Everything sits against the same session record, so you are not reconciling separate lists afterwards.
Can Courtex replace my spreadsheet and group chat?
For running a club, mostly. The list of who is coming, who turned up and who has paid lives in one place instead of being copied between a chat thread and a sheet. You can copy a list you already have and let it populate the RSVP list automatically, so names are not retyped one by one. Players can still share the session link wherever they already talk.
Is Courtex free for badminton clubs?
You can start with a free Courtex account and publish your first sessions from there. Players never pay to use Courtex, and your first sessions come with free publish credits.
Can new members join without me adding them?
Yes. A public club page can be shared, and new members find and join through it, which cuts down on chasing registrations by message. Clubs can also be set to hidden if you would rather keep them private.
Does Courtex take payments online?
Not yet. Online payment collection is in development. Today Courtex records payment status beside attendance, and budgeting works from your session fees and any expenses you log.
How do players join a session?
You publish the session with its time, venue, capacity and cost, share the link, and players RSVP themselves. The list stays current without you copying names out of a group chat.
Can I run the same session every week?
Yes. Courtex has session templates — save the details once, then use the template to quickly create the same session each week.
What happens when a session is full?
Waitlists handle it. Players know they are in the queue, and you know what happens when a spot opens, without sorting replies by hand.
Can I see who has attended over the season?
Yes. Attendance history is kept with each session rather than in a separate sheet, so you can look back across the season without rebuilding it.
Is Courtex only for badminton?
Yes. Courtex is built for badminton only — the way sessions, RSVPs, attendance and payment status work is shaped around how badminton clubs run.
Do I need to be technical to set up Courtex?
No. You create a free account, set up your club page, and publish your first session. Courtex runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install and no server to look after.
Can I run one-off events as well as regular sessions?
Yes. Recurring socials and one-off events are both supported, so a season night and a single tournament can be run the same way.
Is there a mobile app?
There is no app to install today — Courtex is web-only, so it runs in your browser on desktop and phone. A mobile version is in development and will be released on Android first, before iOS.
