How it fits together
One record, seen from several angles.
These pages are grouped by role, because that is how the questions arrive. Underneath, it is the same set of records.
A badminton club produces the same facts from several directions. A player RSVPs, turns up, plays three matches, and their rating moves. An organiser needs the attendance list, the payment status, and a record of who came back the following week. A venue needs to know which court was booked and whether it was paid for.
Courtex is arranged so those are not separate systems. A session, a match, a court booking and a rating all attach to the same people and the same club. That is why the pages above are grouped by role rather than by feature name — you start where your problem is, and the rest of the record is already connected to it.
It also means the answer to "do I need all of this?" is usually no. A social group can use sessions and attendance and ignore the rest. A club running competitive nights will care about match verification and ratings. A venue may only ever use the court booking side.
