What are verified matches?
Matches can be verified by session organisers. Verified matches are matches that have been played and recorded by a session organiser.
These matches are then used to calculate your MMR (Match Making Ranking) with 95% confidence. Once your MMR has been calculated, you can play ranked matches against opponents with similar MMR to climb leaderboards.
Recording vs verifying matches
All users are free to record the outcome of their matches. However, verifying (completed) matches is how players can contribute to their Match Making Rating (MMR).

Why matches need to be verified
Match verification ensures the integrity of your ranking system. By having session organisers verify match results, we maintain trust in the MMR system and prevent fraudulent or disputed outcomes from affecting leaderboards.
Do all matches need to be verified?
Not all matches require verification. Casual matches can be recorded for your personal stats, but only verified matches contribute to your MMR and ranked leaderboard standings.
