Hey users, it's been a while since the last update, so this is a big one.
Seriously, this update is worth a read...
Premium Subscriptions introduced
Previously all features were available under a free tier as the product was being refined.
If you gave the product a spin and provided some feedback, you're a legend.
Now in order to keep some of our lights on, we've introduced a Premium subscription for organisers or socials and events.
Pay per use
We want pricing to be easy.
While many people are used to monthly subscriptions, but we don't think that's the right model for us.
We think pay per use is just easier for organisers because there's no need to calculate the cost per session based on the number of sessions you run per month.
- Smaller clubs/socials pay less because they run fewer sessions than large clubs
- Large clubs don't need to go to higher tiers when usage increases
So we've implemented a Premium subscription for organisers seeking to organises sessions for 2 AUD/session - that's less than the cost of one shuttlecock!
You can add a Premium plan your home or profile pages.
$10 credits for new Premium users
As the product is a pay-per-use, we're giving all new Premium users $10 credit to give our product a try.
The $10 will automatically be added to your account balance, which you'll be able to see in your home page.
When your balance is too low, just top it up!
(If you run into any issues topping up your account, send us a message on (Discord)[https://discord.gg/z8GmqQPAfc].)
When account balance is deducted
Your account balance is deducted when you publish a session. For more details, see below.
Session queues introduced
When you create a session, it is first created as a draft.
If you're happy with the details, you can then progress it through the following stages:
- Published
- In progress
- Completed
Session Templates
We know most of you run the same session every week.
So to make it easier for you to create new sessions, we've introduced session templates which stores the information to prefill details each time you want to create a new session.
Give your session templates a name
There are no limits to the number of temlates you can create, so make sure to give them a name to remember what the difference is.
For example, 'Monday night 8pm'
That's it for new features!
We've also made significant changes to the user interface, and how sessions are displayed. I won't go into the details here, because they should be quite self explanatory.
As usual, if you find any issues, bugs, or feature requests let us know on Discord!
